Found Art

I started the project of these 51 poems in 2016 and completed them in 2017. They are each dear to me because they represent the culmination of my first poetry project, and have resulted in unanticipated opportunities.

The working title was Collage due to the patchwork of periods, experiences, and observations covered . . . I enjoy them, and I hope the same for you.

Tragic - a life without hurdle

How else to translate

the merit of molecules

a person's borne alacrity

to get up from impotent ability

whether organic cause

Something must a person overcome

severe by degrees

- primary opponent -

dexterity, damage, dysfunction

same as truth

Determined connate or captured

and emerge redemption's tool

and rear possibility's mark

and if so

burgeon friendly's alms

what befalls luxury's consistent diet

deep-down woe of unluckiness

And try

not to be - too pleased with self

Loose knots, tight naps, meandering rope-dread

Cultural conquer

palefaced persuade

to redefine inherited bloom

Proselytized tribe

ought chastity be cast

cotton crimp succumb to synthetic straight

Display the cure

to guised serpentine reasoning

. . . hearten ennobling fiber

Symbolic fluff

abstract symmetry - Assert

Make fashionable ethnic imagery

- sophistication with attitude

Imprint NATURAL esteem

creative kinks, knots, twist-turns, and swirls
